An AICS supervisor guiding a student through their work
Home ACE Curriculum The ACE Approach

How Learning Works

The ACE approach, step by step — mastery at each child's own pace, so none is left behind or held back.

The Big Idea

One Child, One Pace, Real Mastery

Traditional classrooms move at one speed — too fast for some, too slow for others. ACE turns that around. Every child works through their own goals, mastering each concept fully before moving on.

The result is genuine understanding, quiet confidence, and a lifelong habit of self-discipline.

Step by Step

The Five Steps

1 · Diagnose

A simple diagnostic test shows exactly where each child is — so they start at the perfect level.

2 · Set Goals

Students set achievable daily and weekly goals, learning to plan and take ownership.

3 · Work the PACE

They work through self-instructional PACEs, raising a flag for help from a supervisor whenever needed.

4 · Self-Test & Score

Children check and score their own work at the scoring station — building honesty and independence.

5 · Master & Move On

A score of 80%+ shows true mastery. Only then do they move on — and celebrate the milestone.

Repeat & Grow

The cycle repeats, each success building on the last — steady, measurable, joyful progress.

Why It Works So Well

Built for Every Learner

Truly Individual

Gifted children race ahead; those who need time get it. Everyone is challenged, no one is crushed.

Builds Character

Self-testing and goal-setting grow honesty, discipline and responsibility — for life.

Measurable Progress

Every PACE completed is a clear, visible milestone that families can celebrate together.
